Sacramental
We value the work of the Spirit through liturgical worship and practice. We come in faith to The Table each week believing that our Lord Jesus meets us there and offers us His own Self.
Pentecostal
We believe that God’s Spirit was poured out on all flesh at Pentecost and that this same Spirit — God’s own Self — is still working in the world through the Body of Christ today.
“Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
Christ-centric
No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known. John 1:18
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. Heb 1:3b
Jesus is our focal point. It is through Him that we understand Who God is.
Spirit-led
When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own, but will speak whatever he hears, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. John 16:13
We are not perfect but we seek to be led by the Spirit of God in our community, our personal lives, and our work.
Peace Seeking
He shall judge between the nations, and shall arbitrate for many peoples; they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. Isaiah 2:4
We join our Lord, the Prince of Peace, in His mission to bring His reign of peace to all peoples even as we now struggle against the grip of violence.
